UPDATE 24th October 2022: we have reached the required total so will be sorting out payment and shipment and closing down the page. HUGE THANKS to all who contributed either financially or in spreading the word.
PLEASE NOTE: we now have SEVEN (7) pallets of equipment and kit ready to ship, and have received donations direct to the bank account so have reduced the target on the JustGiving page.
Our amazing partner The Cricket Kindness Project have been at it again, and have SIX (6) pallets of cricket equipment ready to be shipped to disadvantaged young cricketers in Jamaica and we need your help to raise the £1700 that it will cost in freight charges to send them.
The project is driven by the amazing Tamara Lowe who we are proud to call a friend and have as an ambassador. Tamara is moving back to Australia with her family this year where she will continue the project she founded seven (7) years ago. Cricket Kindness is a humanitarian initiative dedicated to supporting cricket-loving communities around the world. The project addresses the shortage of quality cricket kit and teamwear in impoverished cricket-playing regions.
They have currently amassed SIX (6) huge pallets crammed with incredible cricket gear and teamwear collected through the Kit Upcycling Programme to send to less fortunate cricketer in Jamaica. The cricket goodwill will be donated to the Jamaica Sports Foundation and distributed widely within under-resourced schools in association with the Jamaica Cricket Association.
