We have long been friends, supporters and admirers of The Cricket Kindness Project and the amazing lady behind it, Tamara Lowe so we are doubly excited to announce that not only are we partnering with The Cricket Kindness Project, but that Tamara is joining No Boundaries Cricket Club as an Ambassador.
Tamara will continue with all the big project stuff when he moves back to Australia in September (2022) that she does so well and we will provide some back office support and administration. We will also develop the project as a more local level with schools and clubs and at the games we play where we will always be promoting the project and collecting equipment.
One new area we plan to introduce is the opportunity for people to purchase the donated equipment to help fund the overseas shipments as the logistical challenges and costs of transporting pallets of donated cricket equipment is not insignificant.
Together we aspire to leave no unused piece of equipment gathering dust when it can be in the hands of a child.
Think of it as CKC International – the current activities and CKS UK – with donations sold to fund shipping costs and donated to refugees and those looking to get involved with cricket but can’t afford the equipment.
