What is there not to love about a product called a Squidlid? Add in the fact that it comes from a company called Colourtribe and it just gets better. And the good news doesn’t stop there. Although it comes from Australia it only cost $25 Aud (£14.30) and the postage was free. It fits really well (I unscrew the grill and tuck the clad over the helmet and secure with the grill), looks great and is the perfect colour for for our club colours.
I (Chris) am not a fan of wearing a helmet, although they are obviously advisable and for certain ages mandatory, and for the majority of my cricket one isn’t needed so this helmet clad is the perfect solution to convert my helmet into a NSBCC branded helmet, especially as the addition of the Cricket Bat Sticker just happens to make it look even better!
