Lovely tribute to Vince on the Stoke Sentinel Site who passed away on the 6th January following a long battle with illness. One thing that many people probably are not aware of is that Vince spent a lot of his own time and money sending unwanted cricket kit and equipment to Jamaica, as we have done with our Cricket Kindness Project.
I (Chris) was only fortunate to meet him once,when he umpired a Staffordshire Seniors friendly I played in last year. He came over as well loved, very approachable and fun.
