Church Eaton Cricket Club is seeking a dedicated volunteer to lead our Women’s Team as Team Manager.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, enthusiastic, and committed to growing women’s cricket in our community.

As the Women’s Team Manager, you’ll have the support of the club in organizing training sessions, arranging friendly matches, and recruiting new members of all ages & abilities to join our team.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about cricket and willing to dedicate their time to helping us achieve our goal of providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for women to play cricket.

In return, the club can offer support with training and coaching qualifications, as well as access to training equipment and kit. Our aim is to start with soft ball teams and work towards fielding a competitive hard ball team by 2026-2027.

Here are some key duties and responsibilities for the Women’s Team Manager role:

  • Lead and coordinate all activities related to the women’s cricket team at Church Eaton Cricket Club.
  • Organize and oversee training sessions for players of all skill levels, focusing on skill development, fitness, and teamwork.
  • Arrange friendly matches and tournaments for the women’s team, both home and away, in collaboration with other clubs and leagues.
  • Recruit new members to join the women’s team, including players of all ages (18-100), through outreach efforts and promotion of the team within the community.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes camaraderie, sportsmanship, and personal growth.
  • Act as a liaison between the women’s team and the club committee, providing regular updates on team activities and progress.
  • Collaborate with the club’s coaching staff and other volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of the women’s team and alignment with the club’s overall objectives.
  • Attend club meetings and events as required, representing the interests of the women’s team and advocating for their needs.
  • Uphold the values and ethos of Church Eaton Cricket Club, including sportsmanship, respect, and fair play, both on and off the field.

These duties can be adjusted or expanded based on the specific needs and goals of your club’s women’s cricket program.
