This looks like a fun way to raise funds, and are very happy to be asked to promote it, but location and the fact we are a “virtual club” means it’s not something we will be participating in. You can sell at a profit (see below on how we can refund participants entry fee).

Your only obligation is to pass on entry fees received.

THE EVENT

Calling all #cricket clubs and their active playing club legends in a unique fundraising challenge. The chance to take on International Cricketers in a unique indoor challenge at Sixes Cricket Fitzrovia on 7th March 2024.  Every £25 raised gives you one run bonus in your head to head against the Pro in our cricket ‘Beat the Medallist’ challenge. The evening event starts at 7pm and comes complete with three house drinks, and lots of food plus a Q and A with the host. Cost per place is £75.

OUR USP INCENTIVISING THE FUNDRAISING

As with all our challenges, fundraising with the GB Athletes Crowdfunder (www.crowdfunder.co.uk/gbcharitydays ) also gives participants £1 off the entry fee for every £2 raised (we would refund them directly) . Have a look at the full Athlete Experiences brochure and see if you have events like Golf Days where donated / subsidised places can be leveraged. If so please let me know if you would be happy for your supporters to benefit from this type of fundraising or steer them towards non rewarding donation platforms.
