Joel approached NBCC to see how we could work together to promote LGBTQ+ cricket in Northumbria where he plays First XI cricket for Backworth CC.
He came and played in our match against Rodley CC and impressed both on and off the field, and has contunued to impress with the work he has been doing with the Northumberland Cricket Board.
