Delighted that we are extending our already tremendous relationship with Birmingham Unicorns (@bhamunicorns) as we add an NBCC Club Partnership to the Affiliated Club agreement we already have in place #mysportalso
Specifically we will be providing, a mentoring service to their players, developing game management for the team, and creating a net structure and training plan.
This will include:
- attending their Sunday games to observe match play, offer advice/support to players, and be available to members not playing on those days (but attending) for chats about cricket,
- attending training regularly to support players with their development, including creating development plans for players who want to take their cricket further,
- Chris playing at least 5/6 games this year to help support on-field game management and education, supporting the senior leadership team,
- supporting the senior leadership team with tactical advice and match-day support,
- being available to members outside of training and match days for advice and support regarding skills development and game management,
- providing more general advice to club leadership regarding club development more broadly where appropriate.
Chris will join the Birmingham Unicorns this year as their Coach and Development Consultant.
NBCC will also play two games per season against the Unicorns: a pre season friendly and an end of season ‘full on’ challenge game.
