Was good to present our LGBTQ+ Captain Darrell Butler (@Dazabutler) with a signed Joe Leach (@joeleach230) shirt this week during a coaching and training session at Church Eaton (@churcheaton_cc). Joes company NEXX Cricket (@nexxcricket) are partnering and supporting us as we develop our Woman and Girls’ Cricket Team and he had been going to be a surprise coach at a Birmingham Unicorns net until they changed their plans.
Joe will be running a coaching session (or two) for the new LGBTQ+ Team as well as the Woman and Girls’ Team so hopefully Darrell and the eleven (11) other Unicorns Members who will be benefiting from the program will get to benefit from Joes’ experience, where he will focus not just on technique, but on the mental toughness and game management that a player requires.
